Europe’s first Nerf-themed family entertainment centre (FEC) is opening at Manchester’s Trafford Palazzo on 25 August.
Officially licensed by Hasbro and brought to life by Rocafella Leisure Group in partnership with Fever, Nerf Action Xperience is an indoor Nerf activity centre offering Nerf training, blaster battles, and sports challenges.
The family-friendly attraction is the first Nerf Action Xperience in the UK, with more planned. It is home to five themed arenas, as follows:

Sports @ NERF AX – an active play zone with seven different sports-inspired games
Training Ground – a zone where players can test their Nerf blaster skills with eight digital target games
Chaos City – a post-apocalyptic zone for a blaster adventure
Mission X – a cargo bay or marooned spaceship-style blaster arena
Project Stealth – a classified testing bunker-inspired blaster arena
After the experience, guests can head to Archie’s, an American-inspired restaurant chain. The new venue also includes the UK’s first Nerf retail outlet – an 8,000-square-foot shop selling Nerf products and exclusive Nerf Action Xperience merchandise.
“We’ve worked exhaustively with our partners Hasbro to curate and deliver, what we know will be, a first-class venue for highly active, fun-filled, and adrenaline-packed activities and challenges for all the families and adults,” said Chris Hayes, chief executive at Rocafella Leisure Group.
Nerf Action Xperience to open across UK
“The UK hasn’t seen anything like this before so we simply can’t wait for people to join us and see what’s in store. It’ll be an unparalleled experience full of action and thrills for everyone.”
The first Nerf Action Xperience opened in Singapore in 2019. Part of the TraffordCity retail and entertainment destination, Trafford Palazzo is also home to attractions including Legoland Discovery Centre and a Sea Life aquarium.
Additionally, TraffordCity will soon include Therme Manchester, a new £250 million water park and wellbeing resort.
Elsewhere, Seven and Hasbro are opening Transformers-themed FECs and Play-Doh attractions in Saudi Arabia.
