Semnox Solutions spoke to Andy Sunjaya of Gamesindo, a popular facility in Indonesia, about the realities of reopening an entertainment and leisure business following the impact of the COVID-19 crisis. Around the world, Semnox’s Parafait solution has helped operators as they adapt to the challenges presented by the pandemic.
“One of the main challenges we faced while reopening after the pandemic was in bringing in the staff, especially the technicians, and ensuring that safety protocols are followed,” says Sunjaya.
“This was also a testing time to ensure all the maintenance operations are completed, and the machines are performing well. To add to it, during these low times, investing in sanitation regimes, masks, plexiglass barriers, thermometers has added to our costs, and not to mention, the promotion costs have also gone higher.”

Following the reopening of Gamesindo, Sunjaya reports that visitors are more aware than before of safety measures in the venue, and want to be reassured that their health and wellbeing is a priority, as well as that of the staff that they come into contact with.
The months of closures and lockdowns have led to pent-up demand for entertainment facilities such as Gamesindo, and now venues like this are making sure that they provide a safe environment for customers to return to. Gamesindo’s motto, Bermain Sehat Bersih Aman, translates into Healthy, Clean and Safe Playing, and Sunjaya and his team are using high-tech disinfectant machines and ozonizers to ensure that customers are protected.
“Implementing Semnox’s Parafait suite of products has helped Gamesindo maintain minimum direct contact with the customers, and that sure is a great advantage,” he adds. “Semnox has a great support team which is available for any help in the operations.
