New competitive multi-player game puts players inside a virtual bank heist

SPREE Interactive, a provider of active free-roam VR experiences, has added a new competitive multi-player game, Cops vs. Robbers, to its library of SPREE Arena games, marking its growth into the emerging esports market.

The new game is available for both the 6-player and 10-player versions of the SPREE Arena and brings gamers into a virtual bank heist. It is published by Reality on Demand Studios and developed by Knuckleheads Studios.

Competition encourages repeat play

As with other games in the company’s library, Cops vs. Robbers enables complete free-roam movement. Players can get involved with competitions and events, or just compete with each other as the real-time leaderboard tracks scores. Spectators can even get in on the action, cheering on their favourite teams.

“We are very proud to be a part of the evolution of the VR industry,” says Wouter van denBijgaart, Managing Director of Reality on Demand Studios.

“Since the start of VR, we have been contemplating the potential of wireless VR. The second it became available on the market, we vouched to create a memorable VR experience for everyone to enjoy. We’re excited to have found a partner in SPREE—their vision resonates with our own.”

SPREE delivers immersive VR experiences, suitable for a wide range of venues from FECS and trampoline parks to shopping centres, theme parks and more.

“Our goal is to supply our customers with entertainment which adheres to the latest trends in order to grow their location’s foot traffic and with a surge in the VR esports market, Cops vs.Robbers is the perfect addition in continuing to gratify our SPREE fanatics,” says Jonathan Nowak Delgado, Co-founder and managing director of SPREE Interactive.
