Sunkid expands play park at Erlebniswelt Goldwasser

Sunkid, a leading provider of attractions for the whole family, is celebrating the successful launch of an interactive play project in Austria.

Erlebniswelt Goldwasser (Goldwasser Adventure World) in Nauders features a newly designed adventure playground with Wood'n'Fun products which was recently expanded with the assistance of the Sunkid team.

Operator Nauderer Bergbahnen decided that natural wood had to play a large part in the redesign of the Goldwasser Adventure World. First planned and created in 2021 by Sunkid's partner Almholz, the adventure playground is surrounded by countryside. This ideal waterside location allows for built-up water play experiences including a double raft, play huts in the gold pond, and dams.

Across from Goldwasser Adventure World is Kidsbike Park, which benefits from newly constructed trails where theSunkid Moving Carpetfunctions as a climbing aid.

New additions

A new playground highlight is a motor skills track, which consists of a range of hurdles over its 27-metre-long circuit. Beginning with a rope ladder, obstacles include pickaxes, a wooden tunnel, a wobbly tree trunk ladder and a climbing wall. 

"The goal of a motor skills course is to control and harmonize dexterity and ability with movements," says Sunkid. "Thus we challenge the endurance, strength, speed, coordination and agility. This is an attraction that is considered a highlight for young and old."

The large slide tower is another new attraction, standing five metres tall with two different slides. Visitors of all ages are encouraged to put their climbing skills to the test over various wooden beams until they reach the peak. Thanks to small viewing possibilities built into the tower, guests can enjoy panoramic views over Goldwater as they climb.

"The playground has thus become an educational and natural experience for young and old, with a lot to discover," adds Sunkid.
