Previously serving as chief commercial officer, Smegal has been a key driver behind ProSlide’s global expansion and innovation, shaping its commercial strategy and enhancing partnerships across all major markets.

Smegal joined ProSlide in 2007 as an electrical engineer and then progressed through nearly every department of the company, from product development and engineering to international sales and executive leadership.
Over his 18 years at ProSlide, he has played a key role in shaping its vision for performance, collaboration, and innovation, helping the company grow into the industry leader it is today.

Last month, ProSlide celebrated a string of milestones at IAAPA Expo Europe 2025 in Barcelona. It began the event with Water Park Day at Water World in Lloret de Mar, followed by three days of exhibits, awards, and networking on the trade show floor.
