Saudi Arabia's developer of regenerative tourism destinations, Red Sea Global, has announced plans for a new adventure and entertainment district.
To be unveiled from 1 March, the new district is named Adrena and will serve guests from across The Red Sea destination and beyond.
Located a short drive from Shura Island, the district offers unique facilities such as a skatepark, a BMX pump track, and areas for beach sports like football and volleyball.

Highlights also include a saltwater surf pool, which at 215-metres-long will be the largest in Saudi Arabia, as well as a six-metre-deep diving pool.
Additionally, Adrena includes a children's waterplay area, a floating inflatable obstacle course, an overwater zip line, and a 10-metre-high 'slip and fly' slide.
Entertainment experiences at Adrena include a social hub with a beach club, live music programming, and an infinity pool.

"Our unique adventure and entertainment district isn't just about offering thrilling experiences, it's about embodying the freedom of a coastal lifestyle – the energy, the community, the connection with nature," said John Pagano, group CEO of Red Sea Global.
"We've built Adrena with sustainability at its core, demonstrating our commitment to regenerative tourism and ensuring an unforgettable experience for every guest, day and night.
"We look forward to welcoming visitors in the coming weeks."
Adrena is led and managed by Red Sea Sports & Entertainment Co., which also operates the Wama water sports brand.

When it comes to sustainability, Adrena's design follows Red Sea Global's responsible development.
The Red Sea welcomed its first guests in 2023 and now has nine hotels open. Red Sea Global's other development, Amaala, is on track to welcome its first guests this year.
Red Sea Global, a PIF company and a cornerstone of Saudi Arabia's efforts to diversify its economy, recently called for urgent investment in the regenerative tourism sector.
