Family experience company Camp is taking animated TV series Bluey to its Chicago venue for a new immersive experience.
Inspired by the award-winning children’s show and created in collaboration with BBC Studios, Bluey x Camp opens on 24 May after a sold-out launch in Los Angeles in November.
Guests can visit Bluey’s home – located behind Camp’s signature ‘magic door’ – where they will dance in Bluey’s playroom, play games such as Magic Asparagus and Keepy Uppy, and climb through a two-storey pillow fort and cardboard box castle with slides.
Additionally, Bluey x Camp includes a short Bluey animation, hidden Easter eggs from Bluey episodes including garden gnomes, tennis balls and long dogs, character interactions, and exclusive Bluey x Camp merchandise.
“We’ve been thrilled by the overwhelming enthusiasm for Bluey x Camp in Los Angeles,” said Jenica Myszowski, Camp’s co-CEO.
“Bluey is such an incredible show, adored by families worldwide. We knew that if we could faithfully translate that magic into the real world, families would want to see it firsthand.”
Launched in 2018, Camp operates experiential toy stores across the US. It creates immersive retail experiences inspired by brands such as Disney’s Encanto and The Little Mermaid.
Created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio, Bluey is now broadcasting and streaming in more than 60 countries.

“Our collaboration with Camp provides a completely unique opportunity for Bluey fans to immerse themselves and play in the Heeler family’s world,” said Suzy Raia, SVP of consumer products and business development for North America and Latin America at BBC Studios.
“The team has lovingly and joyfully brought Bluey’s iconic home – and a bit of Brisbane – to life for a truly memorable experience for kids and families.”
In more Bluey news, the Bluey’s World immersive experience is set to open in August 2024 in Brisbane, Australia.
Bluey x Camp will be in Chicago for a limited time before moving to another Camp location.
