Mall of America, North America’s largest shopping and entertainment complex, has launched a podcast featuring industry leaders.
When it opened in 1992, Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota changed the face of retail and entertainment.
The new podcast, called So Much More, will reveal more about the mall, which welcomes more than 32 million visitors every year.
Listeners will discover how Mall of America continues to thrive and hear about its best kept secrets. The podcast will include various guests and industry experts.
Industry topics and business issues
The podcast is now available on all major platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts and Google. It has debuted with six episodes, with topics including the owner’s vision, hosting major events, and an insider’s look at esports.
“We have so many stories to share after 30 years that it was hard to know where to start,” said Jill Renslow, chief business development and marketing officer at Mall of America.
“I think our team has landed on a perfect mix of industry topics, business issues, insider look at events, mall fan stories and special peeks behind the curtain.
“In the episodes we share industry and business trends, best practices and stories from the people that have helped make Mall of America such a unique destination.”

The first season of the podcast is presented by Mall of America parter, the Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau.
“Our goal is simple,” said Bonnie Carlson, president and CEO of the Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau. “We want to inspire travelers to visit Bloomington.
“Since it was first proposed, Mall of America has been an anchor of our community, and we have been great partners from the very beginning.”
Mall of America’s attractions include the Nickelodeon Universe theme park and a Sea Life aquarium. Later this year, the mall is opening a Malibu Barbie-themed F&B experience and a new world-class Halloween haunt.
New episodes of So Much More will debut every Wednesday.
