New rides are themed to Boots from Dora the Explorer and Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender

Mall of America‘s Nickelodeon Universe theme park has announced two new attractions inspired by Dora the Explorer and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The new rides will be themed to Boots from Dora the Explorer and Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Construction will start this fall, with the former to open this Christmas and the latter during spring break next year.

Per a press release, Boots’ Banana Swing will let guests “monkey around” as they swing along with Boots through the rainforest treetops.

Guests will ride their own “loyal and loving” sky bison on Fly with Appa, enjoying aerial views as they travel up and down.
