Simtec Systems to create Top Gun thrill ride with Advent Allen Entertainment

The company will serve as the engineering and manufacturing partner for the highly anticipated attraction

Simtec Systems, a leader in motion simulation, has been appointed as the engineering and manufacturing partner for the highly anticipated Top Gun thrill ride attraction by Advent Allen Entertainment, an entertainment, hospitality, and destination development company.

Inspired by Paramount Pictures’ beloved films Top Gun (1986) and Top Gun: Maverick (2022), this attraction is set to become one of the most advanced, immersive, and adrenaline-pumping experiences in the history of themed entertainment.


Las Vegas location

Launching in 2028 on the famous Las Vegas Strip, Top Gun Las Vegas is set to redefine the location-based entertainment space.

The multi-level destination will include the Hard Deck restaurant and bar, as well as several interactive zones.

A high-performance flight-themed thrill ride will combine cinematic storytelling, precise motion technology, and immersive media in an experience that matches the intensity and excitement of the blockbuster films themselves.

While key elements remain undisclosed, excitement for the Advent Allen–Simtec collaboration is already spreading across the international entertainment and engineering communities.

Advent Allen Entertainment is designing an attraction that combines Hollywood storytelling, precise technology, and emotional depth to create an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

Future vision

Advent Allen Entertainment is already assessing future Top Gun sites, including a possible flagship location in Orlando, Florida.

Earlier this month, Simtec Systems announced that it is working with The VOID to develop a first-of-its-kind hyper-reality dark ride.

This will bring together Simtec’s proven motion simulators with The VOID’s multisensory “hyper-reality” platform to create cinematic worlds that provide theme-park-level throughput within a compact space.
