AREA15 in Las Vegas has launched its latest immersive art experience, a Georgia O’Keeffe attraction that follows similar Van Gogh and Klimt offerings.
‘O’Keeffe: One Hundred Flowers’ is now open inside AREA15‘s ‘The Portal’, a 360-degree projection-mapped venue.
On view through the rest of this year, the attraction celebrates the legacy and work of the American artist, who was known for her paintings of flowers.
For the new immersive art experience, O’Keeffe’s paintings are brought to life in a virtual garden set to a soundtrack of female artists including Nina Simone, Cyndi Lauper and Andra Day.
Cocktails inspired by the flora and fauna of the experience are on offer, including the Flower Drop, Desert Flower and Sky Above Clouds. Guests also receive a package of wildflower seeds.
O’Keeffe follows Van Gogh and Klimt experiences
“Following the enormous success of ‘Van Gogh’ and ‘Klimt’, we are thrilled to launch AREA15’s newest immersive art experience inside The Portal,” said Winston Fisher, CEO of AREA15.
“As a top destination for immersive art and entertainment, AREA15 is a must-see attraction for art enthusiasts visiting Las Vegas,” he added.
AREA15 has also launched a wellness programme called Radiance, providing experiences that explore the mind, body and soul.
Noah Kessler, head of entertainment at AREA15, said the programme offers “unmatched experiences in an immersive setting unlike anywhere else in the world”.
AREA15 features live events, immersive attractions, interactive art installations, state-of-the-art technology, and unique retail. The attraction is heading to Orlando in 2024.
