Global visual and audio technologies company, Christie Digital Systems has launched a new 2K model in its award-winning Boxer range of projectors.
The Christie Boxer 30 has been specially developed for rental staging applications including concerts, amusement parks, projection mapping, live theatre and conventions, as well as permanent installations including museums, planetariums, higher education and houses of worship.
The new model features six mercury lamps, Christie TruLife™ electronics and built-in Christie Twist™ which enables images to be blended and warped from multiple projectors on both curved and irregular surfaces without the need for external solutions.
Lamp life is easily monitored via Near Field Communication (NFC) which also makes for fast changeovers, ensuring the show goes on without interruption.
As with all Boxer projectors, the Boxer 30 delivers omnidirectional orientation capability for greater installation and placement flexibility.
“Christie Boxer 30 delivers excellent image processing for HD and 2K images with all the capabilities that make Boxer an award-winning platform, ” commented Mike Garrido, senior product manager, Christie. “There is also an upgrade license allowing users to future proof their fleet by upgrading to full 4K resolution and 120Hz operation when needed. The Christie Boxer series is an engineering milestone and Christie is confident the high definition version of Boxer continues to extend that leadership.”
