Christie to show smart tech at ISE 2024 crop

Firm is presenting a range of products, with new launches and EMEA debuts among the line-up

Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, will present its smart technologies and demonstrate how they can deliver memorable experiences at ISE 2024.

The leading AV and systems integration show opens today at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, and runs until 2 February. Attendees can find Christie in Hall 3, on stand #3K500.

Innovative visual technology

Christie will showcase its most recent visual solutions, which include advanced content management and processing systems, RGB pure laser projectors, 1DLP laser projectors, and LED video walls.

This year’s theme is “Experience is Everything,” and visitors can see how the firm’s innovative new solutions work in a variety of applications. It will demonstrate some products which have not been shown in the region before.

Arlonna Seymour, executive director, corporate marketing, Christie, says: “As founding members of ISE, we’re delighted to be part of the show’s 20th anniversary. Fuelled by 95 years of experience and know-how as a technology innovator, our solutions allow creatives and partners to deliver exceptional immersive experiences.”

Michael Bosworth, executive vice president for Enterprise, Christie, comments: “We want to inspire attendees and empower our partners to achieve outstanding projects which, in turn, engage users and audiences. We offer complete end-to-end solutions designed to work together from display technology to content management and processing, and we work with partners to strategically come up with the best technology solution to meet their customers’ needs.”

Showcasing new products

The stand features six Christie 4K13-HS 1DLP laser projectors, which are presented for the first time at ISE 2024. They will fill Christie’s immersive space with content from the creative studio THÉORIZ, which will be accompanied by sensory technology by Augmenta. Both of these partners are known for developing unconventional experiences.

Christie’s Core Series III LED video wall solution also launches during the event. It is 30% lighter and 40% more energy efficient than the previous model, and is available in five pixel pitches. Core Series III offers performance, dependability, and value for settings such as public areas, retail, and hospitality.

In addition, attendees can try a control room demo that features the EMEA debut of the new video wall processor Hedra.

Hedra enables secure viewing, organisation, and management of multiple sources for speedy and informed decision-making. When combined with Christie’s LED/LCD video walls, Hedra provides a comprehensive solution for compact control rooms, mobile command centres, and broadcast operations.

The Inspire Series 4K860-iS 1DLP laser projector is also being presented for the first time in EMEA. This model offers an outstanding size-to-brightness ratio with 8,500 lumens and a weight of just 15 kg (33 lbs), which is demonstrated in an exhibit-inspired museum display.

Interactive exhibits

Visitors to stand #3K500 can interact with a giant Christie MicroTiles LED 0.75mm pixel pitch video wall tower, measuring 5 feet (1.5 metres) wide by 18 feet (5.5 metres) high, featuring content from Augmenta and THÉORIZ. MicroTiles LED is an acclaimed, vibrant and adaptable technology that can create an amazing visual impact, with stacking, 90-degree inside/outside corners, and concave and convex curves.

Projection mapping will also be a highlight of the Christie stand. Three Christie M4K25 RGB pure laser projectors will display hexagonal forms using loop light GmbH content and Christie Pandoras Box software. Attendees will be able to interact with Pandora’s Box Software and learn more about the mapping process through a scaled-down version of this projection mapping feature.

In the same space, two 50,000 lumen native 4K Christie Griffyn 4K50-RGB pure laser projectors will showcase their capacity to produce visually striking images with vivid colours in a blended display.

Furthermore, delegates are invited to book a meeting with a member of the Christie team to see the exceptional contrast provided by the Christie M 4K15 RGB pure laser projector. This is equipped with an ultra-high contrast (UHC) lens for unprecedented image quality.

Client care

ISE 2024 attendees can learn about Christie Professional Services’ worldwide service network. Christie Professional Services collaborates with clients to provide reliable AV systems, such as museums, scientific centres, giant screens, and projection mapping experiences.

Professional Services provides comprehensive system protection and flexibility through several extended warranty agreements. With cover for up to 10 years of ownership, ChristieCare includes round the clock service desk support, inventory management, onsite services, and remote monitoring through Cinergy.

Christie’s technology is being used by its partners throughout the exhibit hall. Christie GS Series laser projectors will be at Legrand AV’s stand (Hall 3, stand #3N600), a Christie DWU23-HS laser projector is being used by ScreenINT (Hall 3, stand #3R710), SDVoE is showcasing a Terra, Christie’s AV-over-IP solution (Hall 5, stand #5B100), and there are Christie HS and GS Series 1DLP laser projectors in action at Igloo Vision’s stand (Hall 4, stand #4E310).

Earlier this month, Christie announced that over 80 of its HS, GS and Inspire Series 1DLP laser projectors are being employed to create impressive visuals at a theatrical park inspired by the classic Chinese literary work, Dream of the Red Mansions.
