Konnect helps provide a smoother experience for amusement park guests and staff

Connect&GO, a leader in guest experience engineering and wearable RFID technology for events and attractions, has provided its technology solutions for one of the largest parks in the South of France.

The unique beachfront attraction is using Connect&Go’s high-tech Konnect platform to create a seamless experience for guests, using connected technology and real-time data.

Combined with a new integration from Alvarado, the flexible Konnect platform Fabrikus World has improved on-site security while creating a seamless experience for the operator.

Fabrikus World co-owner Jean Champetier says: “Connect&GO’s highly flexible and integrated technology has helped us completely reinvent our park operations. With the Konnect all-in-one management platform, we can improve our ROI and create a more engaging guest experience.”

Originally known as Europark Vias Plage, Fabrikus World is the largest fixed fairground in France, featuring more than twenty-five rides for all ages alongside three food venues. Fabrikus World is currently embarking on a five-year growth plan which began in September 2021.

Modernising access

The park has transitioned from an open access model with paper ride coupons to a modernised approach comprising a nominal entry fee and ‘Fabcoins’, a digital currency for rides, food and beverage items.

By tapping RFID media at strategic purchase points, the suitable number of tokens is deducted from visitors’ totals and access is granted.

Fabrikus World has already seen improvements by using the new access control integration including reduced staffing requirements and a solidified park access procedure. Certain rides have also implemented Konnect’s photo platform, capturing additional secondary spend whilst enhancing the guest experience.

Connect&GO CEO Dominic Gagnon says: “We are thrilled to support Fabrikus World as they embark on this exciting new phase of growth for their operation.

“From Europe to North America and beyond, we are helping our clients streamline their operations with connected technology. We are passionate about helping them embrace the future, now!”

Connect&GO recently raised more than $17 million at the closing of its recent Series A funding round, led by Financière Outremont.
