Convious raises multi-million-dollar Series A funding

Company founded by Camiel Kraan has ambitious growth plans

Convious, a leading eCommerce platform for the leisure industry, has secured $12 million in funding led by Begin Capital, with FJ Labs, Market One Capital and MillionMonkeys joining the round with existing investor Capital Mills.


The technology company delivers a cloud platform that supports all core operations, providing an easy to use end-to-end solution for employees that enhances the guest journey.

Its system can be used for a range of operational requirements including mobile food ordering, HR management and payments. It can also integrate with existing business tools or run independently. 

Year of growth

With a growing customer base, Convious has helped over 125 clients spanning 16 different countries. Operators such as SnowWorld, Plopsa Group and Looping Group have used Convious’ services to better directly drive visitors through their own channels.

Convious reports that in the year so far, it has increased their clients’ conversion ratio by 86% on average, and customer revenues have tripled.

The new funding will help Convious to expand further with additional offices in the United States, France, UK and Germany. The tech firm also plans to hire for its sales and product development teams, growing its workforce from 65 to 125 by the end of next year.

Earlier this year, Convious brought its innovative Real-Time Pricing solution to Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover in Germany.
