Greg Cetera brings 30 years of industry experience to his new role as managing director for North America

Mobaro, a provider of online maintenance and safety solutions, has announced the appointment of attractions technology veteran Greg Cetera as its new managing director for North America. The latest addition to the company’s US team further consolidates its efforts to grow and ensure the quality of presence in North America.

With over 30 years of experience in sales, operations, process improvement and executive leadership, Cetera is dedicated to enhancing guest experiences across the leisure and entertainment industry.

“Greg’s appointment reflects our strategic commitment to expanding our North American presence and bringing Mobaro closer to our rapidly growing US client base,” says Christoffer Borup, co-CEO at Mobaro. “His proven track record in scaling technology solutions for our industry, combined with his collaborative leadership style, provides us with a strong foundation to sustainably grow both our U.S. team and market share in the years to come.”

Cetera has collaborated extensively with clients in theme parks, water parks, zoos, museums, aquariums, and ski resorts, successfully implementing solutions that enhance guest engagement—from self-service electronic storage options to innovative RFID technology.

His extensive software industry knowledge enhances his capacity to address complex operational requirements across diverse venues. This goes hand in hand with the Mobaro solution, which is adaptable for venues of all sizes and is an essential tool for daily operations, including ride maintenance and safety, health and safety, F&B, retail, and beyond.

Meet the Mobaro team at IAAPA

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the combined CMMS, training, and ride operations platform, which operates in over 25 countries and more than 300 visitor attractions globally. The Mobaro team will return to the IAAPA Expo in Orlando at the end of November, where attendees can find them at booth #3204.

Last month, Mobaro shared more about how its solutions are ideal for both big resort chains and smaller single venues. It also recently showed how its solutions have transformed operations at Folly Farm. Working with the venue, Mobaro’s solutions have changed how safety procedures, maintenance, and operational management are addressed.
