Titanic VR Gaming Experience Launches Kickstarter Campaign

News
Titanic VR gaming experience kickstarter launched

Creator of Apollo 11 VR, Immersive VR Education Ltd., has launched a Kickstarter project for Titanic VR.

The new gaming experience is based around the sinking of the RMS Titanic.

According to CGM, it will be available for the Oculus Rift, HTC Vive and Playstation VR platforms.

There will be two section to the offering – an interactive exploration and an immersive historical experience.

While the game is optimised for virtual reality, it is understood to be fully playable on non VR platforms such as PC and Playstation 4.

Immersive VR Education Ltd. has taken great pains to ensure that Titanic VR is as historically accurate as possible. The ship, and even crew members and passengers, have been meticulously recreated.

The Kickstarter campaign offers various levels of support from the Belfast €10 pledge which gets you some desktop backgrounds, through Avatar for €3000 which puts you in the experience as a non-playable character, right up to the Argo at €6000 for which you can name one of the ROVs.  (NB Boaty McBoatface is acceptable!)
