Julien Kauffmann has served as CEO of Farah Experiences since February 2021 (recently re-branded as Miral Experiences). The company was established in 2008 to deliver world-class entertainment experiences in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Today, Farah Experiences operates Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. The company, a subsidiary of Miral, also operates and manages Saraya Aqaba Waterpark in Jordan. Kauffmann oversees the overall strategy, mission and vision of Farah Experiences.
He has more than 35 years of experience and is a respected industry leader. Before joining Farah Experiences, he served as CEO of American Express Global Business Travel in France and Southern Europe. Prior to this, he was part of the leadership team at Disneyland Paris for more than 14 years. He was instrumental in the resort’s transformation as chief transformation officer and held positions in analytics, revenue development and operations. At Disneyland Paris, he reviewed the organisational model and growth plans, and helped to build the attraction’s digital strategy.
Farah Experiences was chosen as the official operator of Saraya Aqaba Waterpark due to its expertise and track record. The company manages talent acquisition, facility management, ride operations, system and technology, finance, and sales and marketing. “Farah Experiences’ impressive track record, operating some of the leading parks and attractions in the region, will be an asset to our park,” said Abdallah Al Fraihat, executive director of Eagle Hills Jordan.
