Miral rebrands, reports $3.4bn worth of construction projects in Abu Dhabi

As part of the rebrand, Miral has renamed its subsidiaries.

Miral, Abu Dhabi’s leading developer of immersive attractions and experiences, has a new visual identity.

The company has also announced a portfolio of projects under construction worth more than AED 13 billion ($3.4 billion) on Yas Island and across Abu Dhabi.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Miral chairman said the company contributes to “the positioning of Abu Dhabi as a global tourism hub”.

He said the next 10 years “is set to be marked with accomplishments of great magnitude, that reflect a renewed promise through integrated destinations, underscored by a relentless commitment to evolving the capital’s tourism ecosystem and growth”.

New experiences on Yas Island

As part of the rebrand, Miral has renamed its subsidiaries. Experience Hub is now known as Miral Destinations, Farah Experiences is now called Miral Experiences, and Miral Asset Management is now Yas Asset Management.

Miral Experiences operates a portfolio of world-class experiences, Miral Destinations promotes unique destinations, and Yas Asset Management operates and manages attractions on Yas Island.

Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, group CEO of Miral, said the team is “transforming the leisure and entertainment industry in Abu Dhabi and our rebrand signifies how we will aim to deliver on this promise and contribute to economic growth of the emirate”.

Miral’s new identity “reflects the way we are reimagining and evolving an integrated visitor experience, creating unforgettable memories and moments of joy for both residents and international guests”, he added.

“With this, we will continue to position our destinations as top global choices for leisure, entertainment and tourism.”

In the coming years, Miral is focusing on the creation of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, a next-generation marine life park opening in 2023 on Yas Island.

On Saadiyat Island, Miral is developing teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi and the Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi.

The Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is now 25 percent complete, Abu Dhabi’s culture and tourism department (DCT Abu Dhabi) and Miral have announced.
