Adventureland is a family-run amusement park 30 minutes east of New York City that opened its doors in 1962 and averages more than 400,000 visitors annually. The cherished park provides family entertainment for visitors of all ages and houses more than 30 thrilling rides and attractions.

Thanks to accesso technology, it will be able to provide even more value for ticket and season pass holders, allow quicker guest admission at the gate, and ultimately retain its status as Long Island’s family-favourite amusement park,

Delivering a streamlined guest experience

“We’re thrilled to welcome the 2023 season with accesso’s technology guiding a well-ordered ticketing process that delivers an exceptional experience – from ticket purchase to park entry – for our valued guests,” says Jeanine Gentile, manager at Adventureland Amusement Park. “As the attractions industry continues to make its comeback, we couldn’t be happier to have accesso’s help in facilitating growth.”

Adventureland is now equipped to provide customers with a simple eCommerce experience across all devices with the help of the fully hosted, mobile-first accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing package. This solution enables operators to easily increase the value of each customer purchase by strategically incorporating up-sell, cross-sell, and quick-sell options, guiding customers along the purchasing path.

In addition, Adventureland is using the accesso Siriusware point-of-sale ticketing solution, which offers as a one-stop shop for all point-of-sale requirements throughout an attraction or venue, to handle on-site transactions. This eliminates the need for separate systems and databases by giving operators an all-inclusive view of their customers’ purchasing activity, including purchases of goods, food and beverage orders and more, on a single platform.

“The right technology is critical to promoting memorable experiences for park visitors,” says Steve Brown, CEO at accesso. “We’re excited to partner with Adventureland to streamline and enhance its eCommerce and in-person ticketing systems, creating exceptional guest experiences in the process.”

Adventureland joins accesso’s list of leading theme park and attraction clients around the world, including Merlin Entertainments, Six Flags, Cedar Fair, Washington State Fair, Hard Rock Tulsa, Jay Peak, Lincoln Center, Nashville Zoo, Mammoth Mountain, and more.

Last year, accesso sponsored the Guest Journey category of the blooloop Innovation Awards, which celebrated digital technology and beyond that enhance the visitor experience.
