The ride manufacturer will be the exclusive reseller for the Japanese market

accesso Technology Group PLC, a leading technology provider, has announced a new partnership with a longstanding Japanese amusement ride manufacturer.

The technology specialists have signed a three-year agreement with Sansei Technologies, which will become the exclusive reseller of accesso’s virtual queuing products for the Japanese market.

Founded in 1951, Sansei Technologies has become a specialist in the complete development of high-tech rides and attractions, entertainment venue design, elevators/lifts and bespoke technical equipment for leisure and amusement operators.

With over half a century of industry experience, connectivity and understanding market complexities, Sansei Technologies was selected as accesso’s ideal partner.

Sansei’s domestic clients include Fuji-Q Highland, Nara Dreamland and Tokyo Dome City Attractions. The firm has also provided services for well-known international names such as SeaWorld, Six Flags and Walt Disney Imagineering.

The agreement comes as the virtual queue provider looks to expand the use of its award-winning technology solutions in Japan.

The accesso LoQueue collection of virtual queuing solutions has sped up the queueing process for millions of guests, allowing them to use time more efficiently and enjoy more rides.

With a selection of technology platforms available for varying attraction formats, the patented solution also provides additional revenue for operators while improving their guest satisfaction scores.

“Undeniable potential”

Sansei Technologies’ Yasuharu Nishiyama, managing executive officer and division general manager for its amusement ride division says “accesso is the industry leader when it comes to virtual queuing, and the potential their technology holds for operators – especially when it comes to boosting operational revenue – is undeniable.

“We are excited to partner with accesso and are eager to introduce the power of their virtual queuing solutions to operators here in Japan.”

Sansei Technologies will identify prospective customers in the Japanese region, whilst accesso will manage the full solution design and system maintenance, while also providing assistance with customer care.

Like-minded partners

accesso chief commercial officer Andrew Jacobs adds “For years, we have seen our virtual queuing technology redefine operations for theme parks and attractions around the world.

“Through this partnership, we look forward to delivering that same level of success to operators in Japan, and we are grateful to do so with Sansei Technologies, an incredibly like-minded and well-connected partner.”

accesso recently entered another three-year agreement with Calaway Park, a Canadian amusement venue that will benefit from the accesso Passport eCommerce ticketing suite and accesso Siriusware POS ticketing solutions.
