Bluey and Bingo will also be in the theme park for character interactions

Alton Towers is bringing even more Bluey to the resort with the addition of the world’s first Bluey-themed rooms at the CBeebies Land Hotel.

Available from 25 May, the new Bluey rooms will join various themed rooms at the hotel, from Bing to In the Night Garden.

Designed for families, the colourful and playful rooms feature nods to the award-winning animated TV series, and sleep up to two adults and three children.

Natasha Spence, head of attractions (live events) at BBC Studios, expects the new rooms to be “a very popular addition to what is already a fantastic selection of themed hotel rooms at CBeebies Land Hotel”.

Additionally, the Blue Heeler dog from Brisbane is heading to Alton Towers for Easter, and will be joined by her sister Bingo for character interactions from 23 March.

“We are thrilled to be bringing Bluey and Bingo to CBeebies Land. This will be the first time visitors can experience meet and greets with Bluey and her sister at the resort, so it will be a very special experience,” said Spence.

Bianca Sammut, divisional director at Alton Towers Resort, added: “We’re delighted to mark CBeebies Land’s 10th anniversary with the introduction of Bluey and Bingo.

“As a destination dedicated to creating unforgettable memories for families, CBeebies Land remains committed to delivering magical experiences that captivate the imagination and inspire laughter.”

Over the coming weeks, Alton Towers will reveal more about the 10th anniversary celebrations coming to CBeebies Land this year.

Created and written by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios, Bluey is the top show on CBeebies in the UK.

Bluey is also heading to Kew Gardens and Wakehurst this spring. In Australia, a year-round Bluey experience called Bluey’s World is scheduled to open in August 2024.
