Walt Disney World is reported to be ready to move ahead with the construction of gondola cable car system to transport guests between hotels and Epcot and Hollywood Studios.
Channel 9 reports that a notice of commencement has been filed which will allow construction to begin on the footers.Although the exact specification is not known, the gondolas are expected to hold 20-40people each and be capable of transporting thousands of people an hour.
The new transport link could be ready by 2019 and significantly reduce the number of buses needed at the site.
