World-class creator of multimedia entertainment, Emotion Media Factory, has created two spectacular multimedia shows for one of the world’s largest indoor theme parks.
Romon U-Park in Ningbo, China extends to over 200, 000 m2 and boasts over 30 attractions as well as shopping and dining facilities. Emotion Media Factory, based in Germany, provided a turnkey solution for the shows from initial ideas, through design and installation to full show and music production.
The first show, ‘The Source of Light’, tells the story of two Romon panda bears, 'Romon' and 'Romie' who find a magic ball inside the Romon U-Park Pyramid. The ball whisks the pandas off on a journey through imaginary worlds which the audience experiences via stunning multimedia effects and music.
The second show, “the Story of Zheng He”, tells the adventures of Zheng He, a 15th century Chinese admiral and diplomat. He led a series of expeditionary voyages to Southeast Asia, South Asia, the Middle East, and East Africa from 1405 to 1433.
Emotion Media Factory deployed a variety of technical equipment to create the ground-breaking shows including 10 Barco video projectors, 2 high-end video servers, 12 full colour laser projectors, moving lights, 20 flame bursts and a digital water screen spanning the full stage. Effects include laser beams, fire, lights, fog, music and sound, all centrally controlled and synchronised.
To further maximise impact, the company also produced individually composed music scores for both shows combined with multi-track sound effects and Chinese language. Both shows have been designed to appeal to all age groups.
