Europa-Park had a special surprise in store for James ‘Chip’ Cleary on the opening day of The Emerald Isle, the theme park’s 14th European themed area.
The former CEO and President of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA), who has a long association with Europa-Park and served as Senior Consultant on the Ireland – Children's World themed area, has been immortalised by the Mack Family with a shop window dedication: "Chip McCleary – Toys & Trains".
Cleary will continue to lend his experience to the theme park on the 46-hectare extension Water Adventure Resort, set to open in 2018.
