Commenting on the award, Scott Arnold, Vice President of Design and Engineering for FUNA, said, “A sincere congratulations, the park is amazing and we are proud to have been involved. Their Thea Award is well deserved. Being involved in this project presented us the rare opportunity to design systems from the ground up and systems that will allow for future expansion of the theme park. It gave us the ability to fully maximize the current technologies available.”
The Thea Awards ceremony takes place on March 21, 2015 at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California. FUNA will be attending as part of the project team.
