Hill International Awarded $51 Million Contract to Manage Construction of Dubai Theme Parks

Hill International, the global leader in managing construction risk, has been awarded the AED 186.9 million ($50.9 million) two year contract by Meraas Leisure and Entertainment LLC to provide show and ride construction management consultancy services for the first phase of the Dubai Parks & Resorts development in Jebel Ali. 

The AED 9.5 billion ($2.6 billion) Dubai Parks & Resorts development will be a 30-million-square-foot mega leisure complex featuring theme parks, hotels, retail, dining and entertainment facilities in Jebel Ali, as well as an inner-city family entertainment center with retail and dining facilities in Satwa.

Phase one of Dubai Parks & Resorts will include three theme parks (LEGOLAND Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai and Motiongate Dubai) as well as a retail and dining district and a themed family hotel.

Commenting on the news, Mohammed Al Rais, Senior Vice President and Managing Director (Middle East) for Hill's Project Management Group, said, "This will be a hallmark leisure development for Dubai.  We are extremely honored and excited to be part of such an important development that will have a significant impact on tourism and the local economy.”
