KCC Entertainment Design Reveals Plans for Wanda Indoor Theme Park in Nanjing

Award winning KCC Entertainment Design has designed a unique 34, 000m² Indoor Theme Park for the Dalian Wanda Group, China.

The theme park will be part of a high end shopping mall complex being built in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China.

KCC Entertainment Design revealed the theme park plans as part of a spectacular presentation for 2, 500 guests in the ‘Nanjing People’s Hall’.  The prestigious event for Wanda’s high profile new development project included a live performance from the artists of the Han Show, directed by Franco Dragone, which is also a property of the Dalian Wanda Group. 

The design of the theme park has been inspired by the rich culture, history and folklore of Nanjing creating a richly-themed, immersive experience.

KCC Entertainment Design have combined cutting edge technologies including virtual reality and 3D-mapping with traditional theming based on Nanjing’s cultural heritage.  

Details of rides released to date include a drop tower ride inside a Chinese pagoda from local legends and an interactive rollercoaster which stimulates all the sense.

KCC Entertainment Design has already designed several entertainment projects for Wanda Group in this key region, such as ‘The Wanda Qindao 25, 000m² Indoor Theme Park’ which is scheduled to open in 2017.   In addition, KCC is currently working on several entertainment projects, ranging in size from 9, 000m² till 34, 000m², for a number of clients in China.

KCC’s work has been recognized with many awards including ‘Best Entertainment Park in the World’.
