PGAV Destinations, a global leader in the planning and design of unique destinations, has announced it is onboarding eight new colleagues to work in a number of design teams for current and future assignments.
CEO Mike Konzen comments on the staffing development; “Our team is growing across a variety of disciplines based on projects coming to us from all over the world and in all of our market sectors – theme parks, museums, zoos & aquariums, resorts, and brand destinations.”
Graphic trio
The graphic design team is bolstered by three new recruits including Chiara Andriole, a graphic designer from Orlando, Florida, US. She has previously received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Design with a Minor in Architecture from Washington University. Amongst Andriole’s projects are exhibit graphic design and illustration for the St. Louis Sound exhibit at the Missouri History Museum.
Graphic designer Erin Hopkins has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from SIBA (Stevens Institute of Business & Arts). Joining from St. Louis, Missouri, US, Hopkins has previously worked as a freelance illustrator-designer and as a studio assistant for The Firecracker Press.
Jessie Hoy from St. Charles, Missouri, is a Graphic Design Major from Missouri State in Springfield, US. Joining as a graphic designer, Hoy has more than nine years of corporate design experience, most recently at financial institution Stifel.
Architectural colleagues
Dakota Burke is an architectural designer from St. Louis, Missouri, receiving his Bachelor and Master degrees (both in Architecture) from the University of Kansas. Burke’s prior experience is from the restaurant sector.
Former PGAV intern Maddy Speicher, from Paris, Illinois, has received a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Illinois and a Master of Architecture from Notre Dame. Speicher has gained further experience working for Washington DC-based firm Hartman-Cox Architects.
Inside and Out
Another PGAV intern Sebastian Jin, from Hangzhou, China, has become a landscape designer. He received his Bachelor in Landscape Architecture from Fu Jen Catholic University in New Taipei City, Taiwan, as well as a Masters of Landscape Architecture and Urban Design from Washington University, US.
Alle Ragland, from Germantown, Wisconsin, is joining the interior design team, majoring in Interior Design with an Architectural History Minor from Savannah College of Art and Design. Ragland formerly worked in the field of hospitality design for the Interior Image Group of Gettys.
Rounding out the new additions, interior designer Traci Stevener, from Missouri, US studied her craft at Bachelor of Fine Arts level at Maryville University. Stevener has prior interior design experience at TBE Architects and the St. Louis Design Alliance.
PGAV Destinations recently announced it is working on Expedition Africa at Oklahoma City Zoo. The scheme will create the largest habitat expansion project for the zoo in its 120-year history.
