Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure is also adding nine new static dinosaurs to its existing 54 dinos.

Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure is launching an interactive attraction called Valley of the Dinosaurs in spring 2022, featuring 11 new animatronic dinosaurs.

In addition, the Norfolk-based attraction is adding nine new static dinosaurs to its current 54 dinosaurs, taking the total number of dinos in the park to more than 150.

Valley of the Dinosaurs will boast a statue of the park’s explorer Cornelius Weston Smythe, who will encourage visitors to locate the missing pages from his notebook.

Featuring voiceovers from Cornelius and new dinosaur sounds, Valley of the Dinosaurs will also offer photo opportunities. It is part of a £300,000 investment from Roarr!

“Our most recent and significant investment was Dippy’s Theatre at £300,000, which opened in spring 2021 to rave reviews, providing two new experiences and three different activities, and we’re looking forward to investing and expanding our dinosaur repertoire even further with the Valley of the Dinosaurs,” said Adam Goymour, park director at Roarr!

“We want our dinosaur fans to have even more to experience and enjoy next year whilst giving our new visitors a remarkable day out, so they want to come back time and time again.”

Katapult, the international guest experience design agency, will provide consultation for the Valley of the Dinosaurs attraction, including concept design.

“It’s testament to Roarr! that it is continuously looking at ways to elevate the guest experience at the park,” said Phil Higgins, chief creative officer at Katapult.

“It’s been fantastic working with Roarr! – and sharing with them our expertise in creative strategy, insights and design, and we’re very much looking forward to the next stage of this ambitious project.”

Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure also aims to submit further expansion proposals to its local planning authority this winter. Plans include additional rides and dinosaur-themed experiences.
