Scruffy Dog Creative Group (SDG), a leading creative design company, has announced the appointment of Mark Davies to its senior leadership team, in the role of Group Commercial Director.
In this position, Davies will be responsible for the commercial development of the divisions across the group. In particular, he will be able to focus on the strategic expansion of the creative production division, thanks to his experience in delivering high-profile projects in the field of large-scale shows.
Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience
Davies has worked at several well-known organisations, such as Glyndebourne Opera, BBC Worldwide and Birmingham Royal Ballet. He has also previously been the Global Sales & Business Director at Stage One Creative Services and Director of Technical Operations at the Royal National Theatre (UK).

During his successful career, Davies has both secured and participated in several key projects, such as the 2019 Special Olympics, the Great North Star Ceremony, the Fast & Furious Live – Arena Tour and the Bear Grylls Arena Tour, as well as several West End, theatre and opera productions.
Earlier this year, the company also announced the launch of a new division of Scruffy Dog Digital (SDD). The previsualisation, interactives, and preproduction company was formed in response to the increasing demand for creative content.
