Opening on Yas Island on 23 May, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi features eight immersive realms. The park recently unveiled Abu Dhabi Ocean, One Ocean, Rocky Point and Micro Ocean.

SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, the first SeaWorld theme park outside of the US, is home to more than 100,000 marine animals. It also offers animal encounters, rides, entertainment, and retail and dining experiences.

The Endless Ocean realm boasts the world’s largest multi-species aquarium, containing 25 million litres of water and more than 68,000 marine animals.

In one habitat, guests will see thousands of sardines swimming around. The zone also has an observation deck and the ‘Endless Vista’ vertical viewing window.

Endless Ocean includes dive experiences, underwater walking tours, and two dining outlets – Hazza’s Snacks and Fathom 11.

The Arctic and Antarctica realms are found in Polar Ocean. Arctic houses puffins, sea otters and walruses in state-of-the-art habitats. This realm also has an immersive 360-degree multimedia sphere.

Over at Antarctica, guests will see king penguins, gentoo penguins, chinstrap penguins, macaroni penguins, rockhopper penguins and Adélie penguins. They will also enjoy a penguin-themed play area.

Finally, the Tropical Ocean realm features waterfalls, a lagoon and a rainforest, as well as Caribbean flamingos, toucans, parrots, dolphins and tropical fish.

Highlights include an amphitheatre with a dolphin presentation, and one of SeaWorld Abu Dhabi’s most thrilling experiences – the Manta Coaster. The realm also includes eight dining options and three retail outlets.

Each realm has been designed by leading animal care specialists, scientists and engineers using cutting-edge technologies to mimic the animals’ natural environments.

Abu Dhabi’s Yas SeaWorld Research & Rescue has already opened next door to the new SeaWorld.
