Shanghai Disney Resort has revealed the design for its “Happy Dream” float for the 2014 Shanghai Tourism Festival parade.
The float will feature favourite Disney characters, world-class performers and traditional Chinese art surrounding a Disney castle.
Laurie Jordan, vice president, Shanghai Disney Resort Entertainment, said, “The float is the product of design work by an international team of Disney experts including Chinese designers. Together with our live performance, we are excited to demonstrate our commitment to bring the Disney experience to the people of China, even before we officially open Shanghai Disney Resort. We are thrilled to support the Shanghai Tourism Festival for the first time and to help promote the city as an international tourism destination.”
