Big thrills, small footprint: Ride Entertainment and Skyline Attractions celebrate sale of first Skywarp

Ride Entertainment and Skyline Attractions are celebrating the first sale of Skyline’s Skywarp thrill ride.

The new attraction is slated to open to the public in the summer of 2018.

To find out where, you’ll have to wait until November. The location will be revealed at Skyline’s Booth 5808 at the IAPPA Attractions Expo in Orlando.

According to Skyline’s sales partner, Ride Entertainment, the ride combines ‘the speed, inversions, and capacity of a big coaster with a fraction of the necessary investment needed’.

Handling 32 passengers at a time, the unique journey begins once guests board the competing ride vehicles. The train begins by rocking back and forth before building up to full speed, at which point it completes several heart-pumping forward and reverse rotations through the twin Immelmann inversions.

“The flexibility of Skywarp, combined with the excitement it delivers to guests, makes it a great addition to any park,” comments Chris Gray, Vice President at Skyline Attractions. “We are thrilled to be placing the first of what we believe will be many Skywarp attractions.”

Skywarp was first unveiled to the world at last year’s IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando, Florida. The ride attracted huge attention for its ability to deliver big thrills on an ultra-compact footprint of just 120ft by 30ft. The clever design makes it ideal for almost any size park and gives operators peace of mind thanks to its reliability and ease of maintenance. Topping out at 62ft, it is even suitable for many indoor locations.

“Skywarp has everything that operators of all sizes desire: big impact, big thrills, big visibility, and big capacity with a small footprint and a small price,” explains Evan Souliere, founding partner of Skyline Attractions.
