Solomon Group appoints new manager and VP

The two new additions bring vast experience, working with leading names in international themed entertainment

Solomon Group, an award-winning leader in exhibit fabrication, AV systems integration and live event production, has reported the addition of two world-class professionals to the company’s team of creators, technologists and strategic leaders.

Dana Worthington is joining the expanding sales team bringing almost three decades of experience with amusement parks, zoos and resorts.

As Solomon Group’s business development manager working with themed entertainment clients, the experienced project leader will draw on her extensive knowledge in the fields of construction management, wayfinding and area development.

She has worked with industry leaders and top organisations such as ADMI for Microsoft, Baha Mar Development Co., Clark Construction Group, and Walt Disney Imagineering. Worthington is currently serving on the Eastern Board of the Themed Entertainment Association.

Solomon Group is also expanding its Experiential Technology team with Todd Beam as its new vice president of experience technology/AV integration.

With more than 20 years of experience in AV and project management, Beam has worked with leading themed entertainment brands including Disney, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, and Busch Gardens.

Following his recent work with event tech giant LMG, he will lead Solomon Group’s technology team as it executes and delivers new AV/Lighting installations for The International African American Museum, World of Coca-Cola and the Moonshot Museum in Pittsburgh.

Solomon is also to be involved in a number of projects with The National WWII Museum, including the Liberation Pavilion, and an Expressions of America immersive experience.

Correlating with its growing headcount, the company has recently also expanded its facilities with a new fabrication facility in Orlando, which will help Solomon Group to expand into other verticals, such as theme parks and other immersive environments.
