The Executive Committee oversees TEA’s affairs between the International Board’s regular meetings, obtaining the full authority of the International Board in any actions it may undertake between board meetings.

Two new appointments for this year were approved at the TEA International Board’s recent meeting held in December 2021. Each individual will serve a one-year term.

The Hettema Group senior vice president Anthony Pruett will newly assume the position of Treasurer, whilst vice president for location-based experiences Asia at ViacomCBS Evi Sari will also assume the position of Treasurer.

TEA’s members, which include the world’s leading creators, developers and designers, bring their experience of engaging storytelling to amusement parks, water parks, museums, wildlife attractions, resorts, restaurants and a continuously growing portfolio of destinations.

Marketing & client development VP for The Nassal Company, Melissa Ruminot will serve as President-Elect, as was announced by the TEA last autumn.

Allureum CEO Chuck Fawcett and Michael Blau, president at Adirondack Studios, will continue in their roles of president and immediate past president (ex-officio), respectively.

TEA president Fawcett says “This group of talented individuals is ready to work hard in the coming year to help the industry move forward through uncertainty and come out in a place of strength. I am really looking forward to collaborating with them to bring the incredible value TEA offers to all of our members.”

In November the Themed Entertainment Association announced new additions to its International and Divisional Boards, followed by the recent formation of its new China Development Council.
