Company publishes “The Immediate Future of Tourism: Strategies for Recovering Strong This Summer”

Tiqets, a leading booking partner for museums and attractions, has announced the release of a new ebook featuring expert advice and insights on how tourism venues and attractions can prepare for a strong recovery this summer, by sending a message of trust, fun and adventure to both domestic and international visitors.

The ebook, entitled “The Immediate Future of Tourism: Strategies for Recovering Strong This Summer”, explores six trends and also highlights six strategies that operators can use to ensure they are ready for the summer comeback.

The future of tourism

Tiqets met with three industry experts to look at the future of travel and find out how attractions can position themselves for success this season. The ebook features insights from Tom Hall, Vice President of Lonely Planet, travel writer Stacey Leasca, who has written for Travel + Leisure, MSN, Yahoo Travel and more, and Gianluca Camaggio, Sales Manager at Barcelona Turisme.

Many attractions have upped their digital game recently and have learned how to do more with less money to spend. Now, as travel – particularly domestic travel – picks back up, Tiqet’s latest ebook can help attractions to get on the front foot as they make their summer comeback. As Hall says, “The next 12 months remain an incredible moment for reinventing tourism for all of us.”

“We checked in with Hall and two more travel professionals to find out what sort of trends they’re seeing as we leave pandemic-era restrictions behind and tourism begins to roar back to life,” says a Tiqets spokesperson. “We discovered that things probably won’t go back to exactly the way they were. They’ll be even better. “

Last month, Tiqets also produced an ebook exploring how museums and attractions can work to become more sustainable.
