Triotech, an award-winning creator of media-based attractions, is exhibiting at IAAPA Expo 2023 in Orlando this week, where the team unveiled a new attraction, SuperFly, and announced the first installation of the new concept at NEB’s Fun World in North Oshawa, Canada. SuperFly is part immersive simulator, part flying theatre.
Guests remain standing on the motion platform for deeper immersion and more thrills, and special effects like scents, leg ticklers, water and wind enhance the experience. The attraction at NEB’s Fun World will feature 23 two-person platforms, giving a total ride capacity of 46 guests.
“A one-of-a-kind experience”
Tom England, president of NEB’s Fun World, says: “Triotech’s innovative SuperFly was selected to diversify our offering and attract new visitors. We’re eager to offer one more Triotech experience to our clients. Having the possibility to change the story for Halloween, the Holidays, and other special occasions is a great advantage for having visitors coming back all year long.”
Ernest Yale, Triotech founder and CEO, adds: “We take customer success to heart so it’s always a pleasure when clients want to add new Triotech attractions to their location. SuperFly is a one-of-its-kind experience. It will be the first in North America and the world’s largest. No doubt that NEB’s Fun World will make it a hit!”
Awards win for Triotech at IAAPA Expo 2023
During the trade show, Triotech and BoldMove Nation received a Brass Ring Award for Champi’Folies, a Smash & Reload attraction at Le PAL theme and animal park in France. Reflecting Smash & Reload’s potential as a game changer in the industry, the new ride was honoured in the “Best New Product – Major Ride/Attraction” category. It uses state-of-the-art technology and innovative attraction design to offer an elevated guest experience for an affordable budget.
Yale says: “Having our own Triotech team and factory in Europe since 2019 with the acquisition of CL Corporation demonstrates our commitment to this region. Personally, as a European-born person, it’s something of a return to my origins. Now this award is a testament to our drive to push the boundaries of entertainment and technology. We’re dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for visitors, and ‘Champi’Folies’ is a shining example of our capabilities.”
Benoit Cornet, CEO of BoldMove, adds: “We thank our customer Le PAL for the confidence and close cooperation, and all partners that contributed to this amazing attraction through unparalleled teamwork and dedication. This award is a great recognition of our collaboration with Triotech for the ride system, Polymorph for gameplay and TooMush IP and Eye-Opener for theming. Congratulations to everyone and may lots of visitors enjoy the attraction over many seasons to come!”
Arnaud Bennet, CEO of Le PAL, says: “Champi’Folies with its fun mushroom story has conquered the hearts of our visitors from the very first season! We needed a family attraction, and it has proven to be the right choice as the ride is enjoyed by guests of all ages, especially young children with their parents, and has truly found its place in the park.”
Earlier this month, Triotech announced the return of Gabi Salabi, who has rejoined the firm as managing director for its newly created projects business unit.
