The Sportacus UK actor officially approved by LAZYTOWN brought interactive entertainment to Longleat in Wiltshire for three weeks this summer in the form of Get Active with Sportacus.

The official UK Sportacus is a relative newcomer to the Rainbow Productions portfolio of licensed characters offered for personal appearances at leisure attractions and UK events. He’s had a busy summer meeting fans of the hit TV show at a range of leisure attractions, including Puxton Park in Weston-super-Mare, Wheelgate Park in Mansfield, Drusillas Park in Sussex and Crealy’s Adventure Park in Devon and Cornwall.
From July 27th until August 16th 2009 the official UK Sportacus brought his upside-down world of LazyTown to families visiting Longleat through his interactive activity in the Longleat Marquee at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm daily. Guests at the attraction were also given the opportunity to meet him and pose for photographs during his special daily personal appearances at 10am and 5pm.
One parent commented to Longleat about how much her family enjoyed their recent visit:
“We made a special trip back yesterday as my 5 year old son, Ewan, is Sportacus mad – he absolutely loved the activity… the whole thing was great fun and really well put together. It’s been the highlight of his summer holidays!”
Florence Wallace, Project Manager at Longleat, added:
“We were delighted to work with LazyTown and Rainbow Productions to welcome the official UK Sportacus to Longleat this summer. Get Active with Sportacus was fun for the whole family and a great addition to the attractions that Longleat has to offer”.
