This date marks the public’s first glimpse of the project between Paultons Park and Entertainment One which will bring Peppa Pig’s world to life as a magical landscape for the park’s family guests to explore and enjoy.
In addition to the three-acre site featuring seven branded rides, a themed indoor play area and Daddy Pig’s Big Tummy Café, Peppa Pig and George have also been brought to life as walk-about character costumes to meet and greet guests at various intervals during the Peppa Pig World opening hours.
Peppa and her little brother George, both created by Rainbow Productions, have already been taking a look around the site. At the recent press preview the costume characters were greeted with massive enthusiasm and excitement by children of VIP guests on the day; feedback from a lot of people indicated that kids were really excited when Peppa Pig and George came out at the school house and for many children this was one of their highlights of the day.
A team of qualified trainers from Rainbow Productions also advised the skin (costume) performers at Paultons Family Theme Park about skills in how best to portray the brand characters accurately and in a way that engages with the audience. This training also incorporated the crucial health and safety aspects associated with performing as a costume character.
