One of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the United States Adds Longtime Creative Collaborator to Its Team

Thinkwell, a leading creator of experience-based entertainment for theme parks, museums, casinos and retail and resort destinations worldwide, has added theme park industry veteran Danny Hartigan to its team in the role of Director of Creative, the company announced.

Hartigan is a themed entertainment industry veteran and brings more than two decades of experience as a writer, director and performer for a myriad of entertainment genres from improvisational comedy and audience participation theater to film, video, and theme park attractions. For the last 12 years Hartigan served as a Principal of Hartigan Wade, specialists in writing, directing and development for the theme park market, creating attractions for Universal Studios Hollywood, Universal Studios Japan, Epcot Center in Orlando and Disneyland Paris. Hartigan began his career with SAK Entertainment, where he developed “Murder, She Wrote–Live” for Universal and collaborated with Walt Disney Imagineering on projects for the Disney/MGM Studios.

Hartigan’s previous Thinkwell collaborations include the traveling interactive, multi-sensory museum experience “Sesame Street Presents: The Body” and the THEA-award-wining Templo del Fuego attraction at Universal Studios PortAventura in Spain.

Most recently, Danny worked in conjunction with BRC Imagination Arts as the Creative Director for the new Heineken Experience in Amsterdam.

“I’ve worked with Danny over a decade on wide variety of projects, ” said Craig Hanna, one of Thinkwell’s founding Principals and the company’s Chief Creative Officer.  “He’s an amazing talent, extraordinarily versatile and a consummate professional.  As Director of Creative Danny will be both overseeing creative and content development and will also serve as Creative Director on a wide variety of projects.”
