Waterparks: Polin’s “Dealer Convetion” in Antalya, Turkey a Great Success

Polin Waterparks and Pool Systems, Turkey, a global market leader in design, manufacturing and installation of waterparks,   hosted the "Polin Dealer Convention" between January 20-22, 2011, focusing on new trends, products and innovations in waterparks industry. The event took place at Royal Wings Hotel, Antalya, Turkey and was attended by 160 guests consisting of Polin's partners from different countries, waterpark owners, operators, investors.

The guests arrived Antalya on Thursday, January 20th. Welcome Reception the same night enabled attendees from different parts of the World have a great networking opportunity.

The seminar took place on Friday, January 21st and it covered the key points in latest trends and innovations in the industry. After Baris Pakis's, President, welcome speech; Basar Pakis, General Manager,   provided attandees with Polin's future vision, plans and investments. Kubilay Alpdogan, Sales Manager, told about the latest trends, new products and technologies and Sohret Pakis, Marketing Manager, presented on issues regarding the company's marketing communications.  Then Mr. Imre Rethy presented unique Creek Surfing technology. After a family photo shoot and a lunch together, the afternoon part of the program started.

In the afternoon, first session was presented by Mr. Markus Beyr from Kraftwerk Living Technologies on Splashcinema. Then Mr. Ersin Arslan introduced Adventure Golf and Mr. Bruce Mcfarland presented Surfstream and Surf Venues by American Wave Machines. Lastly, Mr. Gyula Szuch, a longterm partner shared his practices while realizing major waterpark projects with Polin. Mr. Attila  Lucas from Eleven Kft, introduced the unique ISIS system in waterparks. The final part of the program was Polin's handing out longterm partner awards to the Company's valuable partners from 27 countries around the World.

After this successful day, all the attendees celebrated this meeting with a Turkish folkloric themed gala dinner, "1001 Nights".

The second day, Saturday, started with visiting a waterpark construction site with Polin's new RTM technology waterslides and continued with Polin's boat manufacturing company, Fipol visit. After a lunch together, all the attendees had the chance to visit famous Aspendos Theatre which is is known for having the best-preserved theatre of antiquity. With a diametre of 96 metres (315 ft), the theatre provided seating for 7000 people. The theatre was built in 155 by the Greek architect Zenon.
