Water park has been enhanced with a ProSlide water coaster and art installations

Creative Studio Berlin, the experiential design firm founded by Chris Lange, has brought new excitement to The Land of Legends in Antalya, Turkey, by combining art and a waterpark. The park, which opened to the public in 2016, is now home to a new water coaster that transforms the landscape and brings the Secret Lagoon area to life, as well as eye-catching new murals, art sculptures and art installations.

“After Chris and his team brought the Masha and the Bear land alive for us, we hired them to add color and excitement to our waterpark, enhancing our overall guest experience,” says Hande Tezerdi, business development director at The Land of Legends / Rixos Hotel Group. “Our guests will completely be immersed in this new zone and can enjoy unique water-coaster thills.”

World’s longest four-person RocketBLAST water coaster

Creative Studio Berlin designed the park’s new RocketBLAST water coaster slide in another successful collaboration with ProSlide Technology, Inc,  an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design. Lange has previously worked with ProSlide on Europa-Park’s Rulantica Waterpark.

The 400-metre-long RocketBLAST slide can take four guests at a time and features four FlyingSAUCERS, as well as several other ride elements. It is based on ProSlide’s award-winning RocketBLAST and FlyingSAUCER technology, already enjoyed by guests at leading parks around the world, from Tenerife’s Siam Park to the USA’s Holiday World/Splashin’ Safari.

The new water coaster travels through the Secret Lagoon area, bringing new life to an underused part of the park.

“The concept is simple – combine art with a water park,” says Lange. “But art is such a personal taste thing, so we carefully designed it in a universal way to appeal to all guests at The Land of Legends. I am excited to collaborate again with ProSlide. Working with Jeff Janovich and his team makes it very easy to bring our visions to life to make the new, multicolored water coaster a connective element throughout the land and part of the art installations.”

The multicoloured new coaster acts as a connective element for The Secret Lagoon, bringing a cohesive and colourful look that reinvigorates the area.

Lange will be taking part in IAAPA Expo Europe, which will be at London’s ExCeL from 12 – 15 September. Attendees can catch him speaking at the EDUSession Creating an Iconic Attraction: The Making of Eurosat – CanCan Coaster on Thursday 15 September at 12 pm. Having been named as one of blooloop’s top 50 theme park influencers for three years running, Lange is this year joining the judging panel.

Earlier this year, Creative Studio Berlin showcased its work on “Curse of the Witches”, a new show at Berlin Dungeon which opened in time for Walpurgis Night on 30 April 2022.
