Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney Cruise Line have unveiled Star Wars, Marvel and Frozen experiences coming to the Disney Wish.

The Disney Wish, which sets sail in summer 2022, will immerse visitors in themed environments, with spaces and experiences inspired by Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars.

Disney’s new ship will include a water ride called AquaMouse. The first Disney attraction at sea includes animated shorts, special effects and tubes suspended above the upper decks.

In addition to AquaMouse, there will be six pools in the Mickey-themed district. The Toy Story-themed district will be a family-friendly water wonderland with a splash zone, wading pool and family waterslide.

Marvel Super Hero Academy

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure is Disney’s first Frozen-themed theatrical dining experience, featuring characters such as Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf.

Worlds of Marvel is the first ever Marvel dining experience, with visitors playing an interactive role in an Avengers mission while enjoying a menu inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Additional offerings include the Luna entertainment hub, the futuristic Hero Zone sports arena, the Walt Disney Theatre, and the Wonderland and Never Land Cinemas.

The Disney Wish also boasts clubs for kids, such as Disney’s Oceaneer Club, Fairytale Hall, Walt Disney Imagineering Lab, and Marvel Super Hero Academy – a high-tech Avengers HQ.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge

For the first time on a Disney ship, visitors will enjoy the Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge, a highly themed and immersive experience for adults offering interactive tasting experiences and drinks inspired by Batuu, Tatooine and Mustafar.

The design concept for the Disney Wish is based on enchantment, with Walt Disney Imagineers embedding storytelling throughout. The ship’s bow will feature Captain Minnie Mouse, while Tangled‘s Rapunzel and Pascal are on the stern.

The Disney Wish will embark on its maiden voyage to Nassau and Castaway Cay, Disney’s private island, on June 9, 2022. This will be followed by cruises to the same destinations from Port Canaveral in Florida.
