ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, is celebrating a successful start to the water park season with a record number of water rides opening this year.
Since March, ProSlide has commissioned more than sixty-five rides across five countries and fourteen water parks.
Notable additions include the world’s first and second TornadoWAVE 12 SwitchBACK at both Splashway Waterpark & Campground in Texas and Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center in Alabama. By the end of the summer season, ProSlide anticipates it will have commissioned an additional 164 rides internationally.
Chief commercial officer for ProSlide, Ray Smegal says: “The 2022 summer season is here and we are proud to be opening a record number of ProSlide water rides with our clients and partners. Every ProSlide water ride is purposefully designed and will deliver exceptional guest experiences this summer and for decades more.”
ProSlide has provided its highlights from the last three months across a trio of markets.
Asia
- The Amazing Bay, Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam – The newly crowned largest water park in the country is home to 28 high-performance water rides. As a ProSlide-exclusive destination, the park features a number of ProSlide classics.
- OCT Hengyang, China – Continuing the manufacturer’s relationship with OCT, ProSlide’s latest project with the firm sees the installation of a TORNADO® 60 and a Double TornadoWAVE 60.
Europe
- Aquopolis Villaneuva de la Canada, Madrid, Spain – ProSlide has increased the variety for families with a brand-new KIDZ Zone for the Parques Reunidos venue.
- Lalandia Sondervig, Denmark – As the water ride supplier, ProSlide’s third project at Lalandia includes a TORNADO 60, a RideHOUSE and the first SuperCLEAR fibreglass installation in Europe.
- Warner Beach, Madrid, Spain – Adjacent to Parque Warner, this is the first European complex to now feature a FlyingSAUCER 45 and TornadoWAVE 60.
North America
- Adventure Island, Tampa, Florida – ProSlide’s tenth installation at the SeaWorld park, the world’s debut Dueling FlyingSAUCER combines two of the firm’s exclusive technologies into a one-of-a-kind racing attraction.
- Cullman Wellness and Aquatic Center, Cullman, Alabama – This site has debuted the TornadoWAVE 12 SwitchBACK alongside other ProSlide attractions such as the RallyRACER, KIDZ Complex, a TurboTWISTER and CannonBOWL 30.
- Six Flags White Water, Marietta, Georgia – A continuation of ProSlide’s long-standing relationship with Six Flags, this installation comprises four FlyingSAUCER 30 features.
- Splashway Waterpark & Campground, Sheridan, Texas – Already home to a 2019 IAAPA IMPACT award-winning ProSlide attraction, this park has now debuted a new TornadoWAVE 12 SwitchBACK, along with a SuperLOOP, TurboTWISTER, PIPEline and the first SuperCLEAR fibreglass installation on the continent.
Last year, ProSlide celebrated the debut of Cheetah Chase, a popular Launched Dueling RocketBLAST/FlyingSAUCER Water Coaster at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari in Indiana, US.
