ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, has announced that its Launched Dueling RocketBLAST/FlyingSAUCER Water Coaster, Cheetah Chase, at Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari has won first place in IAAPA’s Brass Ring Awards, in the category of Best New Product – Water Park Ride/Attraction.
This marks the 16th time that the company has come first in this area in the last 19 years, meaning it has won more first-place awards in the category than any other water ride supplier.
Innovation and performance

This unique ride was created to offer thrills from start to end, with the company’s next-generation LAUNCH technology and the world’s first face-to-face dueling zone. Visitors start the ride on a flat surface before being launched forwards into the first uphill section and then battling head to head through ProSlide’s RALLYPoints, sections of open flume with lower dividing walls where they can see and hear each other.
Last week, ProSlide announced a new partnership with Montreal-based Show Canada, which will provide its creative expertise of experiential interfaces, themed experiences and interactivity to future ProSlide projects. Show Canada has worked on several key projects around the globe, including investments at the Olympic Games in Sochi and Rio, as well as collaborations with Cirque du Soleil, and installations at Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas.
Earlier this year, the company also brought its latest innovation to Atlantis Aquaventure in Dubai, the MammothBLAST Water Coaster, as part of the resort’s new expansion. This combines its water coaster BLAST technology with the fun of rafting for a new family ride experience.
