ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, has revealed that it will be opening more high-performance water rides than ever next year. The company expects to complete almost 50 projects and commission 160 attractions across the globe in 2023, which is a record in its 35-year history.
“We’re proud to be opening a record number of attractions in 2023”, says ProSlide chief commercial officer Ray Smegal. “This really showcases the dedication and relentless drive of the attractions industry. Over the past 6 months, clients have been working very closely with our team to design one-of-a-kind experiences that guests are sure to love!”
Several new projects on the way
ProSlide will be delivering installations in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Oceania next year. The team has been hard at work customising each ride path to make sure that riders experience the award-winning ProSlide difference.
“With a wide product mix, ProSlide provides innovative attractions for every member of the family, and in 2023 we will continue to push the envelope,” says the company.

Earlier this year, ProSlide shared the essential ingredients for a well-designed family water park experience in an exclusive blooloop Innovation Session webinar. Anastasia Grigoryeva, senior master planner Marie-Catherine Dube, WaterKINGDOM experiential lead and Ray Smegal, chief commercial officer were joined by Holiday World & Splashin’ Safari’s director of revenue administration Lori Gogel.
ProSlide’s Aaron Wilson also chatted with blooloop about the newest installations at Warner Beach in Madrid: Black Manta, a 120-meter-long, 14-meter-high TornadoWAVE 60 slide, and Aquaman, a FlyingSAUCER 45. Together, these highly themed new rides form a ride tower that serves as a new anchor attraction for the water park.
