ProSlide Technology Inc., an industry leader in water ride manufacturing and design, has been honoured with WWA Leading Edge Awards for its projects Mega Mayhem at Rapids Waterpark in Florida, and The Water Temple at El Dorado Water Park in the Caribbean.
These coveted awards recognise the innovation, high performance, and partnerships that set pioneering water attractions apart.

Collaborative achievements
Mega Mayhem debuted in April 2024 and is the first water coaster at Rapids Waterpark in Riviera Beach, Florida. This is the park’s longest ride and its steep inclines ensure a memorable experience. With four FlyingSAUCER 20s and three uphill blast sections, this exciting Dueling RocketBLAST offers 255 metres (837 feet) of high-speed racing.
The energy-efficient ride has a capacity of 720 riders per hour and was delivered in collaboration between ProSlide, Fiberglass Systems, Cogito Automation, and Premier Parks.
El Dorado Water Park in the Caribbean is acclaimed for its range of attractions, supplied by ProSlide. Its first phase, The Water Temple, opened in May 2024 with a TORNADO 60, BehemothBOWL 60, ProRACER, three PIPElines, a KIDZ Zone, and a wave pool. The rides are interwoven into the park’s tropical scenery, offering a unique experience for all ages.

Last month, ProSlide marked the success of IAAPA Expo Europe 2024 in Amsterdam, which underscored the changing landscape of European water parks. Europe has a rich theme park and water park heritage, and the inspiring event showed how the market is developing through thoughtful innovations that appeal to today’s guests.
