WhiteWater, a leading waterpark manufacturer, has announced severe key hires as it prepares to exhibit at IAAPA Expo Europe 2021 in Barcelona, from 28 – 30 September.

Good will now rake on the role of VP, Business Development at WhiteWater’s technology arm, Vantage.

Good has spent 10 years helping clients succeed through technology and has worked with a number of leaders in the amusement, cultural institution, zoo, aquarium, and ski markets.

Vantage is a cutting-edge software platform that aims to accelerate the digital transformation of the industry, based on WhiteWater’s 4 decades of experience. It brings together wearable tech and RFID with beacons, mobile apps and intelligent algorithms, to integrate all of a park’s systems and data for a streamlined guest experience. Vantage allows attractions to gain actionable insights, enabling them to optimise their operations.

“It is rare to find a person with Frank’s experience bringing disruptive technologies to the industry. We are excited to add him to the team and deliver our innovative solution to market,” says Philip Edgell, President of Vantage.

During his time with Vekoma, he established the company’s first China manufacturing facility in 2004. Vergoossen also played a key role in the set up of the FlyOver theatre in Vancouver, as well as bringing the concept to other venues.

He has previously worked with WhiteWater on several projects, with a clear focus on what the client needs.

“We are honoured to welcome Domingo to WhiteWater. His depth of expertise will be extremely
valuable to help our clients realize their goals, while his breadth of knowledge will help the team see the whole picture,” says Paul Chutter, WhiteWater’s President.

WhiteWater will be showcasing new developments in water, theme and surf parks at the trade show. Attendees will be able to see new products, interactive demos and dynamic models, as they discover how these can create value for a range of venues. At a conference session on 28 September at 4 pm, Creating Iconic Attractions, WhiteWater’s Executive Vice President in Europe, Grant Poje, will join speakers from Firefly Creations, Liseberg, and Compagnie Des Alpes to explore the different aspects that operators should think about when creating an iconic attraction.

WhiteWater’s European headquarters in Munich are home to a full-service office. “Like everyone else in the industry, we are very excited to finally be able to catch up with friends in person and meet new ones at the show,” says Rainer Maelzer, President of WhiteWater ERA GmbH.

“I am very proud of the international team we have put together. We are happy to serve you in not just English, but also German, Dutch, Arabic, Spanish, Italian, French, Turkish, or Russian—from our different perspectives and cultures.”

The WhiteWater team will be at Booth #2-948.

The company recently provided its Vantage platform to Atlantis Dubai, in order to enhance the guest experience at Aquaventure water park. This partnership will enable the operator to deliver a personalised and frictionless experience to visitors.
