Activate Games, a live-action gaming experience company, has expanded in the Nordic region with new locations in Norway and Sweden.
In partnership with leading Scandinavian real estate and investment firm Realinvest, Activate has opened new venues in Oslo, Norway and Gothenburg, Sweden.
Located in the Snøbyen district outside of Oslo, the 798-square-metre Activate location in Norway features nine immersive game rooms with more than 800 interactive challenges.

In Sweden, the new 733-square-metre attraction in Gothenburg is located in the Nordstan shopping centre and houses nine game rooms.
The new Activate venues follow the debut of the company's first Nordic location in Helsinki, Finland, last month.
"We built Activate to create a global gaming network that brings people together through play," said Adam Schmidt, co-founder and CEO of Activate Games.

"So far all our opening weekends have been fully booked and the feedback from our guests has been nothing short of amazing."

Headquartered in Winnipeg, Canada, Activate has grown to offer more than 70 locations across Canada, the US, France, the Nordic region, Mexico, the UK, and the UAE.
Activate is also on track to open 30 additional locations in 2026, including five new venues with Realinvest across the Nordic region, including Stockholm (Sweden), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Burgan (Norway).
In December, Activate announced a partnership with Kara Holdings to expand to Southeast Asia, starting with a 14,000-square-foot flagship venue in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A second location in Southeast Asia is planned for Singapore.
